Android platform used is the latest version, Honeycomb version 3.1, which is optimized for the tablet product. With 10-inch screen, the resolution is quite high with 1280 x 768 pixels.
The processor is NVidia Tegra 2 and supported with 1 GB of RAM memory. The front features a 2 MP camera and rear 5 MP. For multimedia needs, this device also included an HDMI port, USB 2.0, and SD card slot.
The back cover can be changed with a wide range of color choices. That part is called the Easy Grip and available in a choice of green, dark blue, pink, white, light blue, and black.
Toshiba Thrive, it can be ordered in the U.S. starting Monday (06/13/2011), both at the Toshiba booth as well as online outlets Amazon, Best Buy, or Office Depot. Delivery will be made in mid-July 2011.
Toshiba set a price of U.S. $ 430 for 8 GB version, 480 dollars for the 16 GB, and 580 U.S. dollars for the 32 GB version.
